Stone Carving

The stone carvings and masonry found in the cathedrals and churches of Britain are what originally inspired me to take up a hammer and chisel. I continue to enjoy carving masonry, relief carvings and sculptures in stone, using hand tools that have changed very little since the days of the cathedral builders.

I carry out architectural carving for historic buildings, producing replacements for worn or failed stonework.
